Munich, 16 June 2026 — Pactos, the Munich-based provider of a system for managing the external workforce, was represented at the Google for Startups Gemini Startup Forum in Silicon Valley. Co-founder and Managing Director Antonio Zill was among the 102 founders from around the world selected for the forum from more than 2,000 applications.
The Gemini Startup Forum is a curated, two-day in-person gathering by Google for Startups in partnership with Google DeepMind and Google Cloud. It is aimed at seed to Series A founders committed to integrating AI as a core pillar of their growth strategy; attendance is application based. Participants engage directly with Google's AI teams, provide direct feedback to the teams building Gemini, and exchange views with fellow founders on the practical application of AI.
Antonio Zill spent four days in Silicon Valley and, beyond the forum itself, used the stay for conversations with founders, investors and industry peers from around the world.
„The gap between what is publicly discussed about AI and what is actually being built behind the scenes is immense. I came back recalibrated on how fast the frontier is moving, and we will feed this inspiration directly into our product development.“
AI orchestration in regulated contexts
Among the lasting impressions was a planning agent that a Google team developed for the British government. It automates real estate processes at government level and is already in production, not a proof of concept. For the Pactos founder, this demonstrates how far AI orchestration already goes in regulated environments. One such environment is external workforce management, the field in which Pactos operates.
Exchange with founders and investors
For Antonio Zill, the greatest value of the forum lay in the personal exchange with founders and investors from around the world; many of the most important conversations took place outside the official program. Among them was a discussion on the difference between managing a real external workforce and deploying AI agents, prompted by the question of whether Pactos places external AI workforce.
Pactos thanks Google for Startups and Google for the invitation. Pactos will present in the coming months how the company translates the insights from the forum into its own AI use case.
