Does Pactos replace our security or export control screening?
No, and that is deliberate. The screening itself stays with the competent authorities and with your appointed officers. Pactos keeps the result: which clearance for which person, from when, until when, on what basis, with what evidence. It is the register and the deadline control, not the decision.
How does Pactos handle particularly sensitive information?
On the principle of storing as little as possible. What is kept is whether a clearance exists and for how long, with a role and access concept. The documents from the procedure do not belong in a workforce system. We advise on purpose limitation and the deletion concept before the start, together with your appointed officers.
Can we manage classified information in Pactos?
No. Pactos manages the deployment of people and the records for it, not the classified information itself. Your own rules and systems apply to classified information; Pactos only records who is cleared for which area.
We work with Statements of Work, not staff leasing. Does that fit?
Yes. Both kinds run separately, with their own obligations and their own records. Mixing them is precisely the risk: contracted work that is in fact directed like leasing. Pactos makes the line visible in the process instead of leaving it to habit.
How quickly are we ready to start?
The start depends less on the software than on your master data: sites, areas, programs, providers and the question of which clearance applies to which area. Once that is in place, it goes quickly. If it is spread across spreadsheets and people's heads, sorting exactly that out is the first benefit.
What about our existing systems?
Pactos replaces neither your ERP nor your time management nor your maintenance system. It sits between the requirement and the provider and passes on checked data. Interfaces to ERP, HR and time management are provided for.
